ROOM OF HOPE

The human dimension, beyond the numbers.

As members of civil society, we influence policymakers and businesses by keeping the focus on the human dimension of social concerns, beyond the numbers.

As part of this focus, the third pillar of Step Up Stop Slavery’s mission is supporting trafficking survivors and their children. It seeks to accomplish this primarily through the holistic services of its Survivor Centre, Room of Hope, joining forces with a network of health care and legal professionals, front-line responders and related Civil Society Organisations, to leverage time, resources, expertise and reach.

Holistic help: Room of hope

We provide a range of professional services, under one roof, to adult survivors of trafficking, including:

● Psychological support

● Social welfare services

● Legal support

● Translation and interpretation services

● Education and vocational training

The Centre will be run by a team of professionals and external consultants. Once registered with the Centre, every survivor is assigned a caseworker to coordinate their care and access to mainstream services and long-term welfare.
