DISRUPTING THE BUSINESS MODEL OF SLAVERY

We disrupt human trafficking through professional education and survivor support

What We Do

No one can end the cruelty of modern slavery and human trafficking… alone. Together, we can.

While slavery and trafficking in humans are illegal, the truth is these inhumane, often invisible practices keep millions of men, women and children worldwide trapped in a cycle of despair, with no recourse to protection, justice or compensation.

The numbers are staggering.

The International Labour Organisation estimates over 40 million are trapped in modern slavery, with just under 25 million in forced labour and 15 million in forced marriages.

Meanwhile, in the wake of COVID-19, escalating conflicts, forced migrations, accelerating climate change, global economic turmoil and illicit billions generated annually, slavery and human trafficking are on the rise.

No single magic bullet can eradicate these criminal practices. Doing so will take a coordinated, cross-border, survivor-led effort by all stakeholders, in tandem with data-driven tracking, reporting and prosecuting initiatives.

In short, it will take each of us.

While it won’t happen overnight, by working together we can end the profiteering from human misery, punish perpetrators and give

survivors a new chance at life.
